Koha Hosting, Support and Training for Libraries in the UK and Europe
Koha is used by libraries in nearly every European country. We set it up for your cataloguing standard, your language and your data rules, and look after it.

What we hear
The problems libraries here bring us
“We catalogue in UNIMARC and most Koha guides assume MARC21.”
“Our staff need the interface in their own language, and patrons in two.”
“Our institution asks where patron data is stored and how long loan history is kept.”
“Dates show as month/day/year, and our week starts on Monday.”
How we set it up
Configured for where your library is
Whether we install a new Koha, migrate you onto one, host it, or support the Koha you already run.
MARC21 or UNIMARC, chosen properly
Koha supports both, but the choice is made when an instance is created and cannot be undone. Libraries in France, Italy, Portugal and elsewhere often use UNIMARC; we set the right one up, with matching frameworks and Z39.50 targets.

Your languages, set up and checked
Koha is translated into almost every European language, from Welsh and Irish to Greek, Polish and Turkish. We enable the ones you need, set the date format (dd/mm/yyyy or dd.mm.yyyy) and a Monday week start.

Your data questions answered
Where the server and backups are, who can access them, and how long loan history is kept. Koha can anonymise old loans on a schedule; we set it to match your policy and put the answers in writing for your data protection team.

What libraries in the region ask us
We use UNIMARC. Can you support it?
Yes. Koha supports both UNIMARC and MARC21. The flavour is fixed when an instance is created, so we confirm it first and set up matching frameworks and copy-cataloguing targets.
Can you answer our data protection questions?
Yes, in writing: where the server and backups are, who can access them, how access is logged, how long loan history is kept, and how you take a full copy of your data. Your own data protection officer decides what your institution requires; we give them the facts to decide with.
How is it priced?
Koha Cloud's Basic plan has a published price in US dollars, the same in every country, with the first three months free. Support, migration and training for a Koha you run yourself are quoted.
