Latin America
Koha for Libraries in Brazil, Mexico, Argentina and Across Latin America
Koha has a large community across Latin America. We install, host, support and train on it, in Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese interfaces, on your local time.

What we hear
The problems libraries here bring us
“The interface is in English and our staff work in Spanish or Portuguese.”
“Dates show as month/day/year and our policies are written day/month/year.”
“The clock rules changed in our country and the server never caught up.”
“Our university has campuses in several cities and one overstretched IT team.”
How we set it up
Configured for where your library is
Whether we install a new Koha, migrate you onto one, host it, or support the Koha you already run.
Your languages, set up and checked
Koha’s Spanish and Brazilian Portuguese translations are enabled for staff and patrons, with dates in dd/mm/yyyy. We check the screens your staff use most and fill any gaps.

Time zones that change
Brazil ended summer time in 2019 and Mexico in 2022, while Chile still changes its clocks. Named zones such as America/Sao_Paulo or America/Mexico_City follow these changes, so due dates stay right.

One team for every campus
A single catalog for all your campuses, hosted and upgraded by us, or your own server supported and backed up. Training sessions run in your working hours.
