College Library Management Software, Set Up and Run for You
Koha for degree, community, nursing, medical, engineering and teacher-training colleges: an online catalogue students search from anywhere, circulation with barcodes, an accession register that keeps itself, and the reports an accreditation visit asks for.

What we hear
The problems college libraries bring us
“Our accession register is on paper, and the inspection team wants the library automated.”
“Students cannot tell whether a book is in without walking over to the library.”
“Fines are worked out by hand, and nobody trusts the totals.”
“The computer teacher installed our library software years ago, and now nobody can fix it.”
How we set it up
Set up for how a college library works
Whether we install a new Koha, migrate you onto one, host it, or support the Koha you already run.
An accession register that keeps itself
Every copy gets its accession number and barcode when it is catalogued, and the accession register can be printed or downloaded at any time. Your old register or spreadsheet is brought in first, so the numbers carry on where they stopped.

Circulation and fines by your rules
Loan periods, limits and fine rates are set separately for students, faculty and staff. Fines are worked out on return with a receipt, and the college’s holidays are skipped, so nobody is fined for a day you were closed.

An online catalogue and the reports you need
The catalogue (OPAC) sits on your college website and works on any phone. Issue and return, daily use, new arrivals, overdues and accessions come out as reports you can download for an accreditation or inspection file.

What you get
Everything a college library needs
| What | How it works | Why it matters |
|---|---|---|
| Accession numbers | One per copy, used as its barcode | The register is always complete and up to date |
| Members | Students, faculty and staff, each with their own rules | Faculty borrow more books for longer |
| Fines | Worked out on return, with a receipt | Totals everyone can check |
| Catalogue (OPAC) | On your website and on phones | Students check a book is in before they come |
| Copy cataloguing | Records downloaded by ISBN over Z39.50 | New books shelved the day they arrive |
| Journals | Subscriptions checked in issue by issue | Missing issues show up before the year ends |
| Reports | Issue and return, daily use, accessions, new arrivals, overdues | Ready for an accreditation visit |
| Where you start | A register, a spreadsheet or old software | Brought in and checked before you switch |
| Hosting | Ours, with backups you can download | No server in the college to fail |

How partner loans are trackedAI built into Koha Cloud
Advanced library automation, with an AI assistant for your staff and readers
Koha Cloud is more than hosting. On any plan, your library can add an AI assistant inside the librarian panel that catalogues, audits and reports alongside your staff. Write to it in English, Hindi, Urdu, Arabic, French or Spanish, and it answers in the same language. It proposes; a librarian approves every change.
Copy cataloguing from every source
Give it an ISBN or a title. It searches your own Z39.50 and SRU servers in the order you rank them, then Google Books and Open Library, and brings back the 10 best matches, each labelled with its source. You pick one; the record is drafted for you to confirm.
DDC numbers and author marks
Suggests a Dewey number and a Cutter-style author mark worked out from cataloguing rules and your library’s own convention, for one book or every record missing one. A librarian approves each change.
Catalogue health score
40 checks rolled into one score out of 100: missing marks, invalid ISBNs, likely duplicates, records with no copies. It ranks the worst problems first, tracks the score over time, and fixes them in reviewed batches.
Stock audits and registers
Accession register, stocktake summary, missing items, item history, holdings as of any date and reconciliation, asked for in a sentence instead of built as a report.
Reports on request
Most-borrowed titles, dormant stock, overdues, fines, branch comparisons: 28 ready reports, asked as a question and saved for next time.
Patrons search in plain words
On your public catalogue a reader can type “books on climate change in Urdu published after 2015” or “Agatha Christie novels on the shelf right now”, and the AI turns it into a catalogue search with the right filters.
The same assistant also runs the circulation desk, acquisitions, patron registration, labels and your library's public website by chat, within each staff member's own permissions.

What colleges ask us
Can the system keep our accession register?
Yes. Each copy gets its accession number when it is catalogued, usually also used as its barcode, and the register can be printed or downloaded at any time. Your old register is imported first, so numbering carries on from where it stopped.
Can it give us reports for an accreditation visit?
Yes. Issue and return, daily use, accessions, new arrivals and overdue lists come out as reports you can download and attach to an accreditation or inspection file, and your online catalogue link shows the library is automated.
Does Koha run on Windows?
Koha itself runs on Linux, which is why many colleges end up with a fragile install on a spare PC. With Koha Cloud nothing is installed: staff and students use it from any browser on Windows, a Mac or a phone, and the server, backups and upgrades are ours.
How is it priced?
Koha Cloud's Basic plan has a published price in US dollars, the same in every country, with the first three months free and staff training included. Installation on your own server, data migration and support are quoted.
